The Fruit of Labour (After 41 weeks)

It has been quite some while (almost a quarter of the year) since I last pen down some walks in my life. All these months... I have been so busy with my work & new chapter of life.

Shortly after my new life in May 2005, sometime in August, Jaclyn discovered that she was about 2 months pregnant. Guess this baby was either made in Spain or Portugal where we went for our honeymoon :)

After a long wait of 41 weeks, this baby who was 1 week overdue, at last, has chosen to say "HELLO!!!" to this world on 10 April 2006.

I went into the delivery ward with Jaclyn and witness the arrival of my baby boy, Nicholas! ;) Hmm.. I must say, this is a very strange kind of feeling... Very difficult to describe... It a feeling of Joy with Tears rolling down in my hearts, Happy to see my Baby Boy joining our life, yet seeing the pain that Jaclyn is going through, really makes my heart sank & feel that I should SAYANG her more. It was such a touching moment! Well, not much of other words could describe me once the head of my baby was pop out & I feel like & I am, upgraded in status!!! ;)
Man -> FATHER!!! :)

His head was facing downwards when his mum was pushing him out, but when his full head was out, it suddenly "Pop" and turned 180 degrees & facing me, as if, he is saying "HELLO DADDY!" ;) Haha ;D

Now it is about 1 week after Nicholas was born. So many life experiences to go through & it is really not easy. No wonder my in-laws keep telling us while Jaclyn is still carrying Nicholas: " It never easy being one's parents!"
