Meaningful SUNDAY

These few days have been so tired! Not enuf sleep is the major factor ~everyday~ to my tiredness! Especially SUNDAY when I dun wan2miss my vampire!

However, yesterday, is a long, tired, yet meaningful SUNDAY.

I always look forward to the arrival of SUNDAY. It's the only time in the week, where I can play with my nieces (nephew coming soon) & catch up with my own siblings.

Yesterday, it's fulfilling SUNDAY, because... not only my mum cooked big feast, we have guests visiting our home. Jac's Uni Buddies & my Uni Buddy+Hubby also visited my home for lunch & see some 'stale' photos.

Wow, it has been quite sometime since my house last had friends visiting:)

During lunch, we had popiah (self-wrap or in cups), curry, fried bee hoon, traditional dim sum & ice-cream as our deserts. Many of us had so much that all our "2-3 months" tummy had slowly bloated out quite abit. Heehee :)

Wow...YummyYummy right? Heehee, it's really been quite sometime since we last eat so fabulous meal liao.

In Life, it's always good to catch up with friends and family members as, Singapore is moving very fast and all of us are too busy earning a living & at times, we may tend to forget & neglect the loved ones who are behind you, & those close friends & buddies who had stand by you through these years!

Therefore, I urge everyone who is reading this. Do allocate, find & spend your little time with your loved ones & people who evolves around you all these while. Do let them know that you appreciate them & cherish their existence in your life! Even though it's just an hour, it may seem to them as a day or even a week. You know, we miss each other, just that we are too conservative to confess it. Therefore, from this moment onwards, DO let yourself move into the world that is fill with love & warmth, and letting the people whom you care for, know & aware that they have a place in your heart!

There's HOPE in Life! Ren Jian Cong Man Xi Wang!!!

3 facts about me, for you to know

Okie okie...Bro...dun grumble liao...know u'll not see me on wed onwards, so faster sum up my facts4u to "enjoy" while u clearing ur holiday! Hahaha :D

Ok was tagged and pressurised by my non-sense Bro to divulge 3 facts abt myself tat many of u might not know abt, n then tag 5 others for their 'secrets'!

Hmmm... How to start??? May be u guys tell me what you know abt mi? Then I see what's lacking? Hahaha :) Better not, If I still dun write, my bro there will "kill" me! :)

Nevertheless...I'll try my best to recall something you guys do not know as yet.

Fact number ONE, => New Chapters in Life

hmm...many of you may have know that I had moved into a new chapter of my life sometime in May this year. On the 20th May 2005 to be precise, It's actually, "20052005" Heehee & It's a Friday! One week after "Friday the 13th", hahaha :) Jokes aside. Many of you may wonder Y do I choose this date, somemore on a Friday. This is something which I unintentionally left out during the night's speech. It's was actually HER 26th birthday! :) So clever of me right, save a date4me to remember :) Hahaha, better dun let HER see :)

So what's this going to be a fact of me? Wellwell, the juicy is coming... *drums rolling*

Today, being the 22nd of Oct, some 5 months after May 2005, I have oledi visited a "professional" in JP for the fifth time, and my junior is oledi 10cm long in HER. Yeah! U r right!!! I'm going to upgrade to yet another chapter of my life, early next April! ;)

Fact number TWO, => GREED is the word that send you to GRAVE

hmm... ok, enuf of good news, not so good news coming on its way.

Isit nice2share some not so good stuffs? May be it's just a lesson learnt & I wana share. I duno if any of my friends know that I'm a small but active player in the trading of shares in SG. I may have been in it for only about 4-5 years, but there r already so many lessons which I have learn from others and learn from my own good & bad.

Until lately, I had realised that, a few of my friends are also monitoring and trading in the shares market in SG. It's really like gamble at times, so be REAL CAREFUL!

Just a word of caution: DUN BE GREEDY!

GREED is the word that will send you to GRAVE!

& also, ALWAYS, LIVE WITHIN YOUR MEANS! Look at how much on hand, then decide how much you can HOLD.

ALWAYS REMEMBER:

EARN LITTLE = NO LOSE.

NO EARN IS BETTER LOSE LITTLE!

So, after reading this much, hope you guys/gers out there had understood my experiences. Wishing you all out there, all the best!

Fact number THREE, => HOBBY(ies) & DREAM(s)

Okie, after reading some heart-sinking stuffs, may be we should talk about some light heartening stuffs. Hmm...Not many of you know that, currently, I'm into sports and cards collection as my hobby!

I've picked up Squash & Tennis lately. In fact, I do played them during my poly days, but was not so good & not so often as now. Even thou now, I do play them, but due to lately busy preparing for my MAY day, and without my 4wheels, I had been lazy to go for my exercises.

How I wish I could pick them up again. Any takers there? Do involve me should you guys are organising any such games!

I also collect cards as my new hobby. I tried to collect as many cards as possible. Well, I started this hobby somewhere in 2001/2002. That's when my pay is rather stable & affordable* (The most important factor). I had cards from most financial bodies in SG except may be for a handful which my SHE insist that, take bit by bit la, dun apply & cancel all at the same time, end up... no cards in 1 or 2 years time...;) Hahaha :)

Oya, talking about dreams! wellwell just to add on a brief para on my DREAMS. It's actually stated in my nick here! I just hope to be in future, be a Multi Service Provider for all my friends and anyone who need my help.

Currently, if you need any services on the following:

1) Business Opportunities

2) Cooking Advices

3) Financial Advices & Consultant

4) Legal Advices

5) Learning of Yoga & Pilates

6) Thinking of getting some jewels or gifts

7) Wana explore a new place for chit chatting and gathering over a cup of tea & coffee?

8) More to come...

Do let me know, I'm sure I definitely can provide & offer some professional help if need be.

Ok, I hope I din bored you guys with these day-to-day stuffs of myself. Hmm... I'm supposed to tag 5 of my buddies... to reveal some facts of them which many of their friends may not know!

hmm...Lets me see

(i) My "Lady Boss" = Spicies in Life @ BumBee Design

(ii) My Best buddy = MC1, "the kids' Cinderella"

(iii) My another Best buddy = MC2, "the well-known LifeConcept"

(iv) My Best buddy @ work = my NonSense Bro oppos, can I tag u back?? Heehee :)

The kind soul turned LandLord

An ant knocks the door of a HDB flat.
House owner opens the door.

"I want a place to stay", said the ant .
"I have a vacant room which you can occupy for free of cost", said the owner.

Ant went inside and occupied that vacant room.
After some days, the ant brought in another ant and requested the owner:
"Can you please allow this ant to stay along with me".
"Oh sure, you can do so without paying any rent" said the owner.

After some days the ant brought one more ant and requested the owner to allow that ant to stay with it. Owner agreed to it without asking for any rent.
This continued i.e ant brings in one more ant and owner agrees for it.

On one fine day, the ant brought in tenth ant and requested the owner to allow that tenth ant also to stay with it. The owner said "Ok, you all can stay here but you need to pay rent".
Now the question is Why did the owner ask for rent when the tenth ant came in?

"Incredible Tales"

Today is Tuesday, Yesterday is Monday. How is everyone's Monday Blues? Did anyone of you watch the "Incredible Tales" on TV5 on every Monday?Well, not for me, I missed it. I went for a romantic dinner with my loved one!

For me, this Monday is an enjoyable and wonderful night out with my loved one! It's our 5th anniversary! Time really flies! Giving her a small little gift with 2 stalks of "Roses" on the card, Hahaha :) & a romantic dinner at DESIRE at SCARLET Hotel. These sum up my Monday in a very delightful mood!

Hmm...Many of you may wonder, so, what is it going to do with Incredible Tales? Wellwell, you are right, the above has nothing to do with the topic :) but, do stay tune and read on! ;)

The day before yesterday is Sunday. That's right! That's the day when my Incredible Tales begins. Its was a hot sunny afternoon. I always enjoy the arriving on Sunday, that's the time when I'm got2see my closest family members, my elder Sis & my elder Bro & their family. I always love to play with my niece (Sis's daughter). Just early last month, my Sis-in-law give birth to a daughter. That Sunday, I even carried my new-born niece on my arms and sayang her to sleep. It's as if I'm carrying my own baby like that :) Hahaha Must practice liao :) Next Month, my sis is going to give birth to another baby boy. Yeah! Now I got a nephew soon!;)

After a long and tiring afternoon, getting involved in the kids activities, I went to catch a afternoon nap with my darling at about 5pm. As I was damn tired, I sleep with my specs on. Shortly after, I felt uncomfortable, so I removed it and placed on the bloster that I'm hugging.

At about 6.30pm, we woke up. As usual, we will look for our specs which we normally put by our side table, but surprisingly, this time, my specs went "E-LANG" (in malay) = "LOST" in the thin air. Logically, it should be on the bed, it may dropped on the bed when I toss around. So we flip in & out the bed, the blanket, our pilllows & bloster, & their casing. I also looked up and down the surroundings of the bed & every single corner of the room & the room next door! Despite all efforts, my specs is still gone missing.... AaaaaHhhhh!!! I wana lodge a Missing Specs Report! Hahaha ;)

2 days went past, we always attempt to search for my specs whenever we go to bed. But the fact remains that, it is still MISSING! Good thing, I had an extra specs, if not, I will be walking around like bat.

Well, many of you who know me deep well, may think that I had misplaced my stuffs again, as usual. But this time round, its really missing! Hai... It's seems so eerie! But nevertheless, not to scare everyone, dun worry! My house is still safe & sound to be in! Do feel free to visit me to catch up!

Lavender Place

Sometime mid week, its has been a usual day for me, till I reached this beautiful place call "Lavender Place." The day took a U-turn and it since became a wonderful day for me :) This has been a place for people of all nationality to assemble together to get official documents for staying in the country. The surrounding of this place is beautifully surrounded by this flower: Lavender. That's why this place is called the "Lavender Place". Actually, we often visit this place, but had never find it beautiful except for one time when 'Senses' visited with me & we bumped into a "Papaya" & that was some 1-2 years back when they are still having the SARS thingy :)

After I'm done with my errands with my 'City' buddy, we took the escalator down from 2nd to the 1st storey. This usual boring escalator turn out to be a beautiful and enjoyable trip that day. That 20 seconds escalator trip seems like a 20 minutes. We witnessed the infamous "well" which is as deep as the well you can find at the legendary Diary Farm Road. We seldom had the opportunity to chance upon such beautiful & yet deep "well" in our lifetime.

My God! She flick her beautiful long hair as she was going up the escalator. That moment captured the attention & lust of all "bees" surrounding her. As she flicking, she accidently / intentionally dropped her hair pin, she bent down and picked it up. This is moment not to be missed! We witnessed the beautiful "well" gracefully "smiling" at us. Our imagination starts to run wild! We were even discussing about throwing a $1 dollar coin into the "well", and all you can hear is just, the "ing ing ing" sound as the coin is falling into the "well". But this "well" is so deep till you can't even hear the coin touches the ground.

Seconds later, we parted different ways with our beautiful "well". This moment seems ended just in a second! How we wished it can last longer! We then hopped onto our Toyota Sports Rally driven by our F1 driver and proceed to have our lunch.

We then reached a place where we ever had lunch here once. I been in this little dot on the map for the past 26 years. I never realised that there are really so many different road names which I never heard b4, even thou I have been on the road for the past 8 years!

I actually feel that I had made a new discovery! There is this little stretch of road namely, "Townhend Road". In fact, the minced meat noodles that we ate that hot afternoon, it's just at the junction of Townhend Road & Syed Alwi Road. In fact, during my biking days, I often been to the famous "Ah Boy" shop at Kelantan Lane which is just 2 streets away, but I just never realised there is this "Townhend Road".

Shortly, after lunch, all were feeling tired and shiak. Therefore we proceed back to our office to wrap up our work for the day.
